About Me
I am a Texas-based artist who has found true love and passion for the odd concept and the equally odd mediums. I work with a lot of recycled materials, especially plastic not only as a way to do my part in aiding with pollution but also as a means to bring beauty to something found so common in our everyday lives. I have a background in both sculpture and painting and tend to combine the two within my art, making me a very 3D, 2D artist.

Inspirations
A lot of my inspiration comes from flowers seen in nature or in media. Floral concepts or their likeness often make it into my visual and written artwork. Along with that, material also plays a big role in my inspiration as my material of choice can often dictate where the piece takes me in its creation.
Explorations
I often explore concepts of beauty, abstractness, nature, and human psyche. I tend to use colors and textured materials in this way to bring my art to life. With the materials I chose, I lean towards using them in ways non-traditional which in turn can provide another element to my artwork. I also love using materials I can find, mostly through everyday life. In doing so I bring back new life and beauty into things that were once considered done with their usefulness.
